Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time school-based role in Florida. The work focuses on assessing and treating students with speech, language, and swallowing disorders within a school setting.

You will develop IEPs, deliver therapy, monitor progress, and collaborate with educators and families. Statewide opportunities and guaranteed hours for assignments are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license required and must hold state credentials.
• FLDOE Certification and ASHA CCC-SLP credentials required.
• Experience with school-based IEPs and pediatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Hours: Times / Schedule vary and school is flexible
• Compensation for the full scheduled day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
• 5-10 students (30 minute sessions each)
