Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a SNF setting with days shifts. The role offers a 13-week contract with the option to extend or pursue permanent placement, and a competitive pay package including housing and travel stipends for travelers.

The candidate will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current TB test/results
• Current fitness for duty with a timely assessment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) – New grads welcome!

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)

• Current TB test/results

• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
