We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Legacy Pointe, a leading skilled nursing facility. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in our diverse resident population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for our residents.
This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Omaha.
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents.
Ability to lift and transfer patients with assistance.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
Adequate visual and auditory acuity to assess and interact with residents.
