Seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide specialized assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with severe behavioral and developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and recommend augmentative communication devices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, social communication, and feeding issues.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support communication goals and train staff in communication strategies.
• Integrate communication supports into behavior intervention plans and assist during crisis situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a master’s degree, current licensure, and experience working with children with severe disabilities. Preferred skills include experience with ABA, AAC systems, and bilingual capabilities.
