Job summary

Anova Education is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services across a cluster of charter school campuses in the High Desert region. You will conduct assessments, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, and deliver direct and group therapy in coordination with families and staff.

You will participate in IEP meetings, write legally defensible reports, and collaborate with school psychologists, ABA providers, and other staff to support shared students

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid California SLP license and/or CCC-SLP required.
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or eligibility.
• Experience conducting special education assessments and writing legally defensible reports.
• Strong working knowledge of IDEA and California special education code.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between campuses within the High Desert cluster.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions per IEP-mandated frequency and duration.
• Participate in IEP meetings; write assessment reports and present findings to families and staff.
• Consult with teachers and paraprofessionals on classroom communication strategies and accommodations.
• Support AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) device implementation and training as needed.
• Maintain compliance with assessment timelines and triennial review deadlines.
• Collaborate with school psychologists, ABA providers, and other related service staff serving shared students across sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in charter school or multi-site environments
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Familiarity with AAC systems and ABA/autism service coordination
