Job summary

Soliant is seeking an onsite School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in San Antonio, TX. You will identify and support students with communication impairments, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to IEP processes.

Responsibilities include caseload management, direct/indirect services, and coordination with families. A TX license and Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology are required; ASHA CCC is preferred. This full-time role offers school-based benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid TX State SLP license.
• CCC from ASHA is preferred.
• Experience in school setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Identify students with communication impairments.
• Collaborate with educational staff to determine impact on student progress.
• Develop and assist in instructional and curricular modifications.
• Provide materials that promote communication development to educators and families; participate in IEP development.
• Develop and maintain a caseload schedule including direct/indirect services and assessments.
• Maintain student records and performance data.
• Supervise speech/language-trained para-educators and graduate students as assigned.
• Mentor new speech-language pathologists.
• Participate in school committees, projects, or audits as required.
• Provide in-service trainings to colleagues.
• Complete all Special Education paperwork including IEPs and Medicaid billing.

Performance Responsibilities

• Participate as required on Building Student Improvement Teams, speech/language department committees and projects, special education committees, projects, or audits.
• Provide in-service to colleagues.
