Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech, language, and communication needs. You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

The role emphasizes development of IEP goals, progress monitoring, and data collection using evidence-based practices. Team-based environment with strong leadership and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in communication disorders (ASHA recognized).
• ASHA CCCs or CF required or in process.
• State SLP license or licensure in progress.
• Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments of students with speech and language disorders.
• Provide diagnosis and evidence-based therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and objectives.
• Monitor progress and collect data to inform instruction.

Formation

MA or MS in communication disorders (ASHA recognized)

Position Summary: As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment
• Diagnosis
• Treatment of communication disorders with evidence based best practices
• Development of IEP goals and objectives
• Progress monitoring
• Data collection
• Consultation and collaboration with other related service providers, teachers, and school team members

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
• ASHA CCC’s or CF
• State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
• Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
