Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Wilmington, NC. You will diagnose communications disorders, provide evidence-based therapy, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, families and related services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA.
• ASHA CCC’s are required.
• State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License.
• Teaching certificate (if applicable) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and collect data.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families.

Education

M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA

ASHA CCC’s

State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
