Job summary

Total Care Therapy seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Reynoldsburg, OH. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders, forming individualized plans to improve residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities include dysphagia evaluations, therapy delivery, progress reassessment, EMR documentation, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
• CCC-SLP is preferred or eligible.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in geriatrics or home health is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.
• Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement appropriate swallowing interventions.
• Reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate residents, caregivers, and facility staff on communication strategies, swallowing precautions, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a productive clinical caseload while delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapy services.

Available Locations:

Reynoldsburg/ Canal Winchester/ Pickerington Split Position

Scheduling: Monday-Friday ⎸Part-Time (Weekends available but not required)

Compensation: Per-Visit (based on years of experience)

• Evaluations: $60-$70 Per Visit
• Reassessments: $45-$55 Per Visit
• Treatments: $45-$50 Per Visit

About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders while developing individualized treatment plans that improve residents' quality of life and functional independence.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care.

Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement appropriate swallowing interventions.
