Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess students, develop interventions, and deliver therapy within educational settings. You’ll collaborate with ARD teams, communicate findings to families, and supervise assistants as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs.

• Deliver therapy or supervise SLP Assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Licensure: Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
