Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication challenges in educational settings. You will evaluate needs, deliver therapy or supervise aides, and collaborate with ARD to implement IEP goals.

The role offers full-time, part-time, or as-needed options, with benefits including health and retirement plans. Strong licensure in Texas and CCC-SLP are required or preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
