Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication challenges in Texas schools. You will evaluate needs, share findings with parents and district staff, and develop evidence-based IEP interventions, delivering therapy or supervising assistants as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required or in good standing.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs and conduct comprehensive evaluations.
• Share findings with parents and district personnel with clear communication.
• Develop ARD/IEP-aligned therapeutic interventions.
• Provide direct therapy or supervise SLP Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.

• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
