Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
• National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting a plus.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions;
• May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Position Overview

Essential Functions

• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.

• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary

• $70-$73/hr. based on experience $2,700 – $2,800 per week based on 40 hours
