Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric therapy across home and community settings in southeastern PA. Competitive hourly pay based on experience with a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license required.
• Experience with pediatric population preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with families and professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child's developmental goals.
• Coach families on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress generalization and active caregiver participation; communicate with the team.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire team
• Prepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• PA Speech Therapy (SLP) license
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
• Pediatric Experience
• Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
