Flagship Therapy seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position at Lake Pleasant Post Acute in Peoria, AZ. The role involves screening and evaluating patients with physical functioning disorders, delivering rehabilitative care, and coordinating discharge summaries.

A flexible schedule with a pay range of $38–$50 per hour is offered based on experience. New graduates are welcome, and the team supports CAPLICO values in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.
• Ability to deliver rehabilitative interventions for physical functioning disorders and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plans (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Prepare discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FULL TIME – LAKE PLEASANT POST ACUTE – PEORIA, AZ

FULL TIME: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: $38 - $50/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
