Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services across patient populations in post-acute care settings. This role may be offered as Full-Time or PRN, with opportunities for growth and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and collaboration with facility staff; requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid state license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients per standards and Reliant Rehabilitation's guidelines
• Screen and evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, manage discharge planning and case coordination
• Maintain professional conduct, comply with state and federal regulations, and uphold patient confidentiality
• Provide care that aligns with goals and measurable outcomes, and support infection control and safety protocols

Responsibilities

Delivering Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation's standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve patients' communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in Speech-Language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
