Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, addressing speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication needs.

Develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state SLP license to practice.
  • CCC-SLP credential from ASHA preferred and recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients and families.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
