Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Missouri is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN role in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and collaborate with nursing staff to support patient-centered care.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, educate families, and stay current with best practices. A Master’s in SLP, Missouri licensure, and CCC-SLP (preferred) are required or encouraged; CPR

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
  • CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication and swallowing.
  • Educate patients, families and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
