Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM (½-hour unpaid lunch)

Compensation

Pay Range: $37.24-$53.20 Per HR

Description

• Conduct assessments to determine speech-language therapy needs.
• Deliver speech therapy services as outlined in the IEP.
• Engage in team meetings for consultation and collaboration.
• Provide training and maintain communication with parents.
• Complete necessary documentation and paperwork.
• Participate in staff development and in-service training.
• Maintain regular meetings with supervisor.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assess speech-language skills to identify therapy needs.
• Provide mandated speech therapy services to students.
• Consult with colleagues in team meetings.
• Conduct parent training and maintain communication.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Engage in in-service training and staff development.

Qualifications

• New York State Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
