Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Health at Home in Morrilton, AR seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose and treat patients in their homes.

You will develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognition and swallowing, and collaborate with families and other clinicians to achieve meaningful outcomes. The role requires a Masters in SLP, active state license with CCC-SLP, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of clinical experience; valid driver's license; and compliance

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active licensed SLP in the practicing state with CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Minimum of one year of clinical Speech Therapy experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to patients' homes.
• Compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, targeting speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing goals.
• Tailor therapy approaches to meet individual patient needs and family goals.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely per standards.
• Educate and support family members to continue exercises at home.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join the CHI St. Vincent Home Health team. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders for patients in their homes. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

*Pay Range*

$36.42 - $54.17 /hour
