CHI St. Vincent Health at Home in Arkansas seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our PRN Home Health team serving Pine Bluff and surrounding areas.

You will assess, diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in patients' homes. The role focuses on individualized therapy plans, collaboration with families and healthcare professionals, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active SLP license in the state of practice and CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current driver's license.
• Compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment goals and outcomes.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This PRN position will cover Pine Bluff and north of Pine Bluff.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join the CHI St. Vincent Home Health team. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders for patients in their homes. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy to patients in their homes, including techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Customize therapy strategies to meet individual patient goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and support for family members to assist with therapeutic exercise and strategies at home.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active registered SLP license in the state which you practice and certification (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• One-year Speech Therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Drivers License
