Blue Stone Therapy in Janesville, MN is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy to adult and geriatric patients at Whispering Creek. You will evaluate, treat, and document outcomes, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support meaningful rehabilitation.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and compliance with licensure standards, with opportunities to supervise assistants and contribute to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Minnesota.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled SLP services focused on functional outcomes.
• Treat swallowing disorders, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments.
• Participate in discharge planning and maintenance program development.
• Supervise SLPA as applicable and per licensure requirements.
• Maintain patient schedules per guidelines.
• Document timely and accurately to support care quality and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.

Speech Language Pathologist – Blue Stone Therapy

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Janesville, MN, to provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients at Whispering Creek.

What you’ll do

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled speech language pathology services focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
• Treat swallowing disorders, dysphagia, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments.
• Participate in discharge planning and development of maintenance programs.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable and in accordance with licensure standards.
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules per established guidelines.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or post‑acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
