Parkway Health and Rehab in Memphis, TN is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy across outpatient, inpatient and rehabilitation settings.

You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery. Salary will be discussed during the interview. Additionally, familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including complex cases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with EMR and documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with realistic goals and objectives
• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation settings
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and industry standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including those with complex medical conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation software
