TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist to serve a Marietta, OH school. You will provide direct therapy, assessments, IEP development, and progress evaluations while collaborating with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a 37.5-hour work week (5 days, 8:30am-2:30pm) with guaranteed hours and a competitive hourly rate of $50–$65+. Licensure in SLP and ASHA credentials are required or in process; CF-SLP placement may be available.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP.
  • National License: ASHA.
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
  • CF-SLP placement may be available.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in use of technology.
  • Fingerprint background clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management for PreK-5 students.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
  • Develop and evaluate IEP plans and track progress.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 30 students.
  • Coordinate with the District and TheraPeds for support and planning.

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Marietta, OH. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Requirements
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
