Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from an SLP program.
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLP.
• National License: ASHA.
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
• CF-SLP placement may be available.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Federal Heights, CO. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
