Job summary

Sevita's NeuroRestorative division seeks a Speech/Language Pathologist to assess and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will direct therapy, review records, and create individualized treatment plans to support rehabilitation across diverse populations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • One year experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing; access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks.
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
  • A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech and language skills, development, articulation, voice and fluency disorders.
  • Direct and administer speech therapy using rehabilitation techniques.
  • Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals served and develop therapy plans.
  • Identify and develop intervention strategies.
  • Instruct individuals served, family members, and caregivers to maintain or reach optimal functioning.

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Speech/Language Pathologist
  • Assess speech and language skills, development, articulation ability and voice and fluency disorders of individuals served.
  • Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
  • Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals served and develop therapy treatment plans.
  • Identify and develop intervention strategies.
  • Instruct individuals we serve, family members, and primary caregivers to insure the maintenance of or to achieve the ideal functioning level for each person served.
  • Insure effective coordination of individual’s served home care services.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology
  • One year experience as a Speech Therapist
  • Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
