The Help Group in Sherman Oaks is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to students with autism and developmental disabilities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress for IEPs, communicate with families, and meet productivity goals while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a generous sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensed by the California SLP and Audiology Examining Committee and by ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Provide individual or group services.
• Prepare documentation related to present levels and goals and present information at IEP meetings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure LAS activities and progress on goals in the classroom.
• Provide parents with regular updates on student progress and recommendations for home support.
• Meet expected productivity levels as determined by the Director of Related Services.
• Comply with licensing requirements and ethical standards.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Provide individual or group services
• Prepare appropriate documentation related to present levels and goals and present information at IEP meetings
• Coordinate with your multidisciplinary team to ensure LAS activities and progress on goals are carried over and sustained in the classroom
• Provide parents with regular updates on student progress and recommendations for support they can provide at home
• Meet expected productivity levels as determined by the Director of Related Services
• Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards

Qualifications

• Holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensed from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee and from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
