Job summary

Help Group is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Los Angeles, CA, to provide services for students with autism and developmental needs. The role emphasizes both individual and group sessions, with comprehensive documentation and progress reporting for IEP meetings.

Applicants must hold a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed by the California SLP/Audiology Board and ASHA. A supportive team environment and strong benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure LAS activities and progress on goals are carried over.
• Provide parents with regular updates on student progress and recommendations for home support.
• Meet productive expectations as determined by the Director of Related Services.
• Comply with licensing requirements and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Provide individual or group services
• Prepare appropriate documentation related to present levels and goals and present information at IEP meetings
• Coordinate with your multidisciplinary team to ensure LAS activities and progress on goals are carried over and sustained in the classroom
• Provide parents with regular updates on student progress and recommendations for support they can provide at home
• Meet expected productivity levels as determined by the Director of Related Services
• Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards

Qualifications

• Holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensed from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee and from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
