Position Overview
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting in Lillington, North Carolina (27546).

The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic achievement, communication development, and overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other communication needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records.
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families to support student success.
- Select and administer appropriate assessment tools and evidence-based treatment activities.
- Provide recommendations for accommodations, communication supports, and intervention strategies.
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal special education requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required (or ability to obtain).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language assessment, intervention strategies, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively participating in a multidisciplinary team environment.
