Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Lebanon, MO and surrounding areas. The role offers pay-per-visit compensation, with benefits including medical plans, life insurance, and disability.

Remote charting during visits is supported by Roger's AI-powered tools to enhance work-life balance. Responsibilities include delivering therapy per physician orders, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the care team to update the Plan of Care.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-language pathology and current state licensure.
• Prefer 1 year clinical experience, ideally in acute care or rehab.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good judgment and patience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct speech therapy services to patients as ordered by physician and care plan.
• Complies with agency policies, regulations, and payer requirements.
• Maintains legible, timely documentation of all care and services.
• Collaborates with team to review and update the patient's Plan of Care.
• Supports agency productivity goals and efficient operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct speech therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician and in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Complies with agency standards, policies, procedures, state and federal regulations, state practice acts for licensed personnel, the Business Code of Ethics, and payer requirements.
• Provides legible, accurate, timely and complete documentation in accordance with the established agency standards of all care and services provided to patients as assigned.
• Communicates and collaborates with team members when reviewing, revising, and updating the patient's Plan of Care.
• Performs job responsibilities in accordance with agency financial and productivity goals in the promotion of effective and efficient agency operations.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Education / Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-language pathology. Current license in the state(s) of practice.
• Experience: Prefer one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment, utilizing good judgment, flexibility and patience in all situations.
• Position requires mental alertness, precision, analytical ability, problem solving, memory, communication, concentration and initiative.
• May require frequent travel and irregular hours.
