Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are hiring for a great client in Lake Stevens, WA. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who will provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and support students with speech and language needs in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
  • Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies
  • Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active WA SLP license and ASHA CCCs preferred
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines
