Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks an energetic Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) to support students at an Elementary School and Education Center in La Plata, MD. The role is full-time and involves direct therapy, evaluations, and active participation in IEP meetings.

The ideal candidate holds an Active Maryland SLP license with ASHA CCCs, is comfortable navigating MTSS/RTI, Medicaid billing, and collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to promote student success.

Qualifications

• School-based experience preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, MTSS/RTI, and Medicaid billing

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations
• Write evaluation reports and screening summaries
• Develop and implement IEPs and speech-language goals
• Provide direct therapy services and track student progress
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Complete Medicaid billing and required documentation
• Support MTSS/RTI initiatives
• Travel between school sites as needed

Requirements
