Henderson Health in Henderson, NV is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team. You will screen, assess, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a post-acute setting.

The role involves developing care plans, documenting progress, and counseling patients and families, while partnering with a multidisciplinary team to support geriatric recovery. Licensed SLP required; experience levels welcomed.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Henderson Health in NV is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking afull time Speech-Language Pathologistfor our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:
