Job summary

Oxford Consulting Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based services to students. The role involves one-on-one therapy with school-aged children, collaboration with classroom teachers, and development of customized intervention plans to meet communication goals.

The position supports scheduling flexibility with two sessions weekly, 30 minutes each, in a school setting. NJ license and SLP credentials are required or in process; ASHA CCCs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Valid SLP license in NJ required.
• NJ School Certification preferred.
• ASHA CCCs preferred.
• 1 year of school-based or clinical experience with children aged 3–18 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with school-aged clients two sessions per week for 30 minutes each.
• Provide one-on-one services and collaborate with teachers and staff.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to meet communication goals.
• Conduct assessments and report on voice, speech and language areas.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with related services.

Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each student’s communication goals and needs. • Work with school aged clients
• Assist and evaluate students in the areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language development
• Collaboration with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement interventions
• Conducting assessments reporting on areas of strength and areas of improvements in regards to aspects voice, speech and fluency
• Develop unique treatment plans that are child and family first mentality
• Participate and/or conduct IEP meetings
• Valid SLP license in NJ
• NJ School Certification
• ASHA CCC’s
• A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
• Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
