Qualifications

Role Description

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist role is a hybrid position based in the Greenville–Spartanburg–Anderson, South Carolina Area, with opportunities for partial work from home. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders, including dysphagia, consistent with applicable professional standards and state regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering direct therapy services (in-person and virtual), monitoring progress, and documenting services and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and functional communication goals, as well as participating in IEP/504 meetings and contributing to educational planning. The Speech Language Pathologist will also engage in ongoing professional development, maintain licensure, and help refine Stride’s speech and language services to align with best practices in online and hybrid education settings.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Speech Therapy and management of Speech and Language Disorders to evaluate, diagnose, and treat student needs
• Knowledge and experience in Communication Disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language
• Skills in assessing and treating Dysphagia and related swallowing challenges, following evidence-based practices and safety protocols
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech Language Pathologist in South Carolina; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience working with school-age learners in educational or pediatric settings, including IEP development and service delivery
• Ability to provide services in hybrid environments (on-site and virtual), with strong technology skills for telepractice platforms and documentation systems
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and learner-centered care
