Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Golden, CO is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to support K–12 students in school-based settings. This role offers full-time or part-time schedules, competitive hourly pay, and mentorship for Clinical Fellows.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain documentation while ensuring compliance and progress.

Qualifications

About the Role

Hello, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based positions near Golden, CO. You’ll support K–12 students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic success while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive school environment. The role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship and ongoing support provided.

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K–12 school setting

• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports

• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams

• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication

• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills

• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Colorado State SLP license (or ability to obtain)

• Colorado CDE Certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• School-based experience preferred, but not required
