Job summary

Jenkins County Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a qualified speech language pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in speech language pathology and have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Active Georgia SLP license is mandatory.
• BLS certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and their families about testing results.
• Establish patient understanding and treatment goals.
• Create accurate documentation for all patient visits.
• Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies.
• Refer patients to medical specialists as required.
