Job summary

Jenkins County Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a qualified speech language pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and communication disorders. Qualifications

  • BLS certification is necessary.
  • ASHA certification is preferred.

  • Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
  • Provide counseling to patients and their families about testing results.
  • Establish patient understanding and treatment goals.
  • Create accurate documentation for all patient visits.
  • Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists as required.

  • Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with a variety of speech and cognitive disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to comply with all regulatory standards.
Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in speech language pathology.
  • 1–3 years speech language pathology experience.
  • Active Georgia SLP license.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification.
