Job description

The Speech Language Pathologist Office is seeking applicants for two immediate openings for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

11-month SLPs begin work on August 1st. Students will begin school on August 19th. Various trainings and workdays will occur between August 3rd - August 19th.

Applicants must be eligible for a Speech Language Pathology license from the Maryland Department of Health.

Effective July 1, 2022 all Speech Language Pathologists will be 11-month employees of FCPS. Salary incentives are provided to those SLPs who are ASHA certified.

Work Year Calendar

• 11-month position (208 days/ year), 7 hours per day

Under the Fair Labor and Standards Act this position is exempt from overtime. Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Frederick County Public School System.
