Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based, full-time assignment in an elementary setting for the 2026-2027 school year.

This temporary position covers medical leave for TK–5 students; you will conduct evaluations, provide therapy, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, families, and the district team. Active state licensure in California and a Master’s degree in SLP are required; CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFs may be considered.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students with communication disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district for a temporary full-time assignment during the 20262027 school year. This position provides coverage for a one-month medical leave and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication needs in an elementary school setting.

Position Details

• Assignment Dates: August 13 or 14, 2026 September 30, 2026


• Reason for Assignment: Medical leave coverage


• Caseload: Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th Grade

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students with communication disorders.


• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.


• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.


• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
