Durango Health and Rehabilitation in Durango, CO is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program. You will screen and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a post-acute setting, delivering care that aligns with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will hold a licensed SLP with ASHA CCC or be eligible for CFY and work within a flexible PRN schedule with a competitive hourly pay range of $41–$52 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• State license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC certification or eligibility for CFY required.
• Licensure and regulatory compliance for clinical practice in post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Durango Health and Rehabilitation in Durango, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program!

PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay: 41 - $52/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
