Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze phonation, resonance, and articulation of speech sounds.
• Conduct hearing screening, hearing aid evaluations and fitting, and auditory training.
• Advise on selection of appropriate speech therapy programs for patients.
• Handle clinical practice including administration, teaching, research, evaluation and reporting.
• Perform speech language pathology evaluations to identify articulation or fluency issues.
• Deliver direct treatment to improve speech output and fluency.

Thrive Therapy Center, a multi-disciplinary therapy center with locations in Davison, Clarkston and Brighton Michigan, dedicated to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art evaluation and intervention services to pediatric-age clients with diverse cultural backgrounds and diagnoses. We believe that a client's progress is significantly enhanced when speech and language, fine motor, and sensory needs are incorporated and addressed in a meaningful, natural environment.

Our company is looking to fill a position for a Speech Language Pathologist in our office. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing speech and language therapy services within the organization. We are seeking a professional who is dedicated to providing quality services and can work with children, adolescents and adults with communication disorders. Work days are typically in the evenings and weekends, so candidates must have flexibility in their schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of clinical practice including administration, teaching, research, evaluation and reporting.
• Perform speech language pathology evaluations with clients for purposes of identifying problems in speech sound production and/or fluency.
• Deliver direct treatment in a variety of settings with the goal to improve speech output and fluency.
