Job summary

Millennium Therapy in Cresco, IA seeks a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist for skilled nursing and hospital settings. The role includes patient assessment, direct treatment, and collaboration with a clinical team.

Licensure in the state of hire and a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology are required; two years of experience preferred. Flexible scheduling and ongoing CE opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in the state of hire.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills, strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
• Supervises other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required; some programs may include additional administrative duties.

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologists to our staff Cresco, IA for Skilled Nursing, hospital settings. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications
