Job summary

Millennium Therapy in Webster City, IA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support Skilled Nursing and Outpatient settings. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy while collaborating with the clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in the hire state.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates independent clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation.
• Participate in the clinical team process.
• Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
• Supervise other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students; may have admin duties.

Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologists to our staff in Webster City, IA and Eagle Grove for Skilled Nursing and Outpatient settings. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

PAY:

Negotiable - based on experience

HOURS:

30-40 Hours/Week Flexible

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:

• Speech Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
• Involvement in clinical program development.
• Supervises other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more speech language pathologists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
