Job summary

Building Connections Academy in California is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication challenges. You will provide therapy, participate in evaluations, and work with teachers and families to remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

Your Role

You will work directly with students to help them develop the communication skills that unlock learning, friendships, and independence.

Responsibilities Include

• Providing speech and language therapy services.
• Conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings.
• Collaborating with teachers and families.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that help students thrive.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
