Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based role in Columbia, SC. The position offers both full-time and part-time options for the 2026-2027 school year, with compensation up to $55/hour.

SLPs will support students with speech and language services, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with school teams. Licensure in SC and a master's degree are required or in CF status, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina State SLP license or ability to obtain.
• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
