Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position in Columbia, SC. The role supports K-12 students, developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans in collaboration with school teams.

Position offers competitive pay up to $55/hour, with flexible part-time or full-time schedules for the 2026-2027 school year. W-2 employment includes liability insurance, health benefits, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CSD).
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position in Columbia, SC. You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and newer SLPs
