Job summary

Clarion Wellness in Clarion, IA, seeks a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for its in-house rehab program. You will screen and treat patients with speech, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and provide guidance to families and caregivers.

Licensed SLP with flexible PRN schedule will join a supportive team affiliated with Ensign Services, Inc. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, 401k, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Clarion Wellness in Clarion, IA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:
