Blue Stone Therapy in Cherokee, IA is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients at Cherokee Specialty Care. The SLP will evaluate, plan, and deliver speech pathology services to improve functional outcomes and support discharge planning.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, current license (or eligibility) and likely experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute settings.

• Participate in discharge planning and development of maintenance programs.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable and in accordance with licensure standards.
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules per established guidelines.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
