The company pays the majority of coverage for Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance for eligible employees.* Invested in You: From 401K options to Education Stipends, we help you grow personally and professionally.* Recognition Culture: Our \"Robust Employee Recognition Program\" ensures that your hard work never goes unnoticed.**Our Benefits (For Eligible Employees)*** Comprehensive Healthcare: Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance* Generous Time Off: Paid Vacation Days, Sick Days, and Holidays.* Financial Future: 401K retirement plan.* Growth: Opportunities for continuing education* Employee Perks: A robust recognition program and a supportive, five-star work environment.**Your Role & Responsibilities:*** Develop effective treatment plan and obtain approval for services from referring physician.* Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.* Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plans.* Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review meetings and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.* Participate in in-services training program for other staff in the facility.* Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertification documentation, per Speech and Language Pathologist in the Board State Practice Act and governmental and third party payer requirements.* Record treatment changes per policy and procedures.* Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.* Participate in discharge planning.* Act as a clinical preceptor for affiliating CFY/RFP Speech-Language Pathologist and student programs.* Comply with the Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Bureau State Practice Act and the facility policy and procedures.* Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families, staff and professional colleagues.**Required license or certification:**Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathologist Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Speech-Language Therapy.Active and in good standing California SLP LicenseProficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Point Click Care.We are an equal opportunity employer.
