Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Campbellsville, KY. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat children and adolescents with communication, speech, and language disorders, as well as feeding and swallowing concerns. Daily responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and documenting progress in compliance with professional and organizational standards. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other clinical professionals to support carryover of strategies at home and in community settings. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in team meetings, maintain accurate records, and stay current with best practices and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide evidence-based Speech Therapy services, including assessment and intervention for speech sound production and overall speech intelligibility.
• Knowledge and experience in evaluating and treating Communication Disorders, including pragmatic, expressive, and receptive communication challenges.
• Competence in assessing and treating Language Disorders, including delays and disorders impacting vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.
• Skills in managing Dysphagia and feeding/swallowing issues in pediatric populations, with attention to safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in Kentucky.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; clinical fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle a pediatric caseload in a clinical setting.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is beneficial; willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training.
